ISLAMABAD, Aug 12 (APP): The Media Engineers Forum (MEF) has announced its support for Javed Saleem Qureshi for the upcoming elections of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) on August 18, the forum said on Monday.
This was unanimously decided in a meeting of MEF held here under the chairmanship of Engineer Faisal Hayat.
Representatives from Pakistan Television, Radio Pakistan, Associated Press of Pakistan, Press Information Department, Pakistan Media Regulatory Authority, and private media engineers attended the meeting, said a press release from MEF.
MEF’s President Faisal Hayat and General Secretary Ghulam Mujaddid on the occasion said Javed Saleem Qureshi’s services to engineers during his tenure were commendable.
The declaration emphasized that the victory of Javed Saleem Qureshi would ensure representation of genuine engineers into the PEC, enabling improvement in the field of engineering.
